Impressions and Impressionism / French Café Culture

CMC is diligently watching the status of all future trips as it relates to COVID-19, and will provide updates to trips statuses no later than eight weeks prior to departure.

French cafe culture has been a foundational element of French historical, artistic, literary, and gastronomic life for hundreds of years. These combined culinary and art culture courses explore that rich history through past and contemporary artworks and cuisine.

Time will be spent studying and tasting in the heart of Paris, Lyon (the food-capital of France), and a day trip to study chocolate in Geneva. We will make, witness, and experience art and food in a culturally rich location sure to be a memorable and life-changing course.

Courses: ART 208 Culture Studies (3 credits) and CUA 175 Special Topics: French Café Culture & Cuisine (1 credit)

Tuition: See current in-district, in-state, and out-of-state CMC Tuition Rates

Program Fee: $3,800 – does not include airfare, CMC tuition, and most meals
