Ecuador & Galapagos Islands: Language and Environment, Summer 2023

This comprehensive study abroad program will allow you to not only learn, but also become part of Ecuador. 

We will visit three distinct regions: the Sierra of the Andes, the Amazon jungle, and the Galápagos Islands.

Students will experience all three environments, immersing themselves in the language and culture. Students will also engage with two of the most environmentally diverse and important regions in the world to understand basic concepts of ecology and the relationship between environmental problems and biological systems.

Trip dates: June 25-July 20, 2023

Courses: ENV 1111 SPA course (depends on individual student’s level) 7-9 credits

Tuition: See current in-district, in state and out of state CMC Tuition Rates

Cost: $4,300 including airfare Quito-Galápagos (RT), but not including CMC tuition or airfare Denver-Quito (RT)
