Step into a world of rich traditions, vibrant cultures, and unforgettable landscapes on this 11-day, three-country journey through Vietnam, Cambodia, and Thailand. Led by Professor Kevin Clarke, this faculty-led study abroad experience is open to Colorado Mountain College students and community members alike.

From floating villages on the Mekong Delta to the ancient temples of Angkor Wat and the electric energy of Bangkok, this immersive travel course offers a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to see the world—and your place in it—differently.

Trip Dates: May 8 - May 18, 2026

Pre-Trip Meetings (Zoom): Attendance is mandatory unless excused or rescheduled by the trip leader. All meeting times are 5:30-6:15pm MST.

Courses: CUA 1075 Special Topics, Southeast Asia: Vietnam, Cambodia, & Thailand

Tuition: See current in-district, in-state, and out-of-state CMC Tuition Rates. Trip costs one credit hour at the 25-26 AY tuition rate.

Trip Cost: $6370, includes airfare, lodging, breakfast daily, excursion, in-country travel, and some meals. There are Scholarship Support funds available to reduce the cost to $3600 for credit bearing students. Priority will be given to Culinary and Hospitality students. Please contact Chef Clarke for more information regarding scholarships.

Registration for the tour is done through EF Study Abroad a third party provider. Applicants should read the EF cancellation policy carefully before registering for the trip, as the refund policy and timing are different from the college policy.
