CANCELED - Language, Culture and History Uruguay Summer 2020 + Buenos Aires, Argentina!

We regret this trip has been canceled.

Study the history of Uruguay and the Southern Cone of South America while you immerse yourself in the Spanish Language. We will be based in Montevideo, Uruguay and experience the mix of the Old City with its colonial architecture and the historical European roots and the modern city that has grown up around it.

The group will also travel to Colonia del Sacramento which has been named an UNESCO World Heritage Site because of its colonial roots with Portuguese and Spanish influence. Students will also spend three days touring Buenos Aires, Argentina’s historical sights and all that this modern city with strong European roots has to offer.

The program includes:

  • Homestay with a Uruguayan family
  • Most meals are covered under the program fee
  • Spanish immersion classes
  • History course taught by an Uruguayan professor
  • Field trips to historical sites around Montevideo
  • A weekend traveling to historical sites outside of Montevideo
  • A weekend in Buenos Aires, Argentina
