Access, Inclusion & Disability Services at Colorado Mountain College
Helping students with disabilities to be successful at CMC
Access, Inclusion & Disability Services Colorado Mountain College assists students with disabilities with their college classes. Individuals with disabilities who attend or plan to attend CMC may receive reasonable accommodations, academic adjustments and/or auxiliary aids in order to have equal access in the classroom. Access coordinators at each campus are available to support students, staff and faculty with accommodation requests, implementation, guidance and general information.
The laws requiring post-secondary institutions to provide these services to otherwise qualified students include Section 504 of the Vocational Rehabilitation Act of 1973 and the Americans with Disabilities Act of 1990 (ADA). Support services are structured to meet the individual needs of students who have disabilities.
