By signing up for Registration, you are automatically enrolled for Orientation.

Yes. Registration and Orientation are two separate events and both events are required. The material covered will be essential for your transition to Colorado Mountain College.

With the help of your advisor or college counselor, you will enroll in your classes during Registration.

After you sign-up for a registration date, a confirmation email will be sent to your personal email. You will receive additional information one week prior to the event.

Be prepared with your SAT or ACT score, copies of high school and/or college transcripts, AP scores, personal scholarship information, MMR vaccination record, and financial aid awards. Bring any Admissions correspondence, should you have any questions.

During Registration, you will learn about academic programs, view the program curriculum for your degree, meet with an advisor or college counselor, and enroll in classes.

During Orientation, you will learn about campus life, student support services, and strategies for success. You will also meet other incoming students.

You are welcome to bring guests to help you move into the residence hall. Orientation will be for students only. Historically, we have offered a Parent Orientation session. More information about this Orientation will be provided later.

All new students are charged $75 for Orientation.  This charge will be placed on your student account.

This is a very rare occurrence; students are required to attend Orientation in order to take classes at CMC.

For students traveling to our campus from outside our area, there are a number of ways to get to Glenwood Springs.

Students can fly into Denver International Airport (DIA), rent a car, or take Bustang or Amtrak to get to Glenwood Springs from Denver.

From the EagleVail (EGE) or Grand Junction (GJT) airports, rent a car or take Bustang.

From the Aspen (ASE) airport, take a RFTA bus to the Glenwood Springs Thunder River Market stop. RFTA, Bustang or Amtrak will require a transfer up to the Spring Valley Campus via the Ride CMC shuttle.

The Ride CMC shuttle runs between the Spring Valley Campus  and Thunder River Market (at Hwy. 82 and Co. Rd. 114) on an on-call basis only, Monday through Thursday, from 7am until 6pm. Learn more about the Ride CMC shuttle.
