Autry Lomahongva: Sharing the Spirit of the Outdoors
Outdoor Recreation Leadership / Leadville Campus
Autry Lomahongva moved to Leadville, Colorado from his hometown of Kayenta, Arizona to study outdoor recreation leadership. He’s also an athlete, running for the Colorado Mountain College Eagles cross country running team.
CMC Leadville, located at over 10,000 feet above sea level, is the highest elevation college campus in the nation. This unique location is an excellent place for runners like Autry to live, study, and train.
Autry is passionate about bringing diversity, equity, and inclusion to the outdoor industry. He plans to return to the reservation where he grew up after graduation to inspire others to get outside and explore.
