With just over four decades of experience in education, Beth Sass has dedicated her career to supporting students, strengthening school culture, and building effective leadership systems. She holds a B.S. in Physical Education from Eastern Illinois University, an M.S. in Curriculum and Instruction with an emphasis in Outdoor Teacher Education from Northern Illinois University, an M.A. in School Counseling from Adams State College, and completed her Principal Licensure Program at Mesa State College. Beth currently serves as a School Counselor at Rifle High School, where she continues her long-standing commitment to student advocacy, academic achievement, and social-emotional development.

Throughout her career, Beth has served as a teacher, counselor, instructional coach, assistant principal, principal, program coordinator, and district leader across Colorado and Illinois. She has played an instrumental role in developing district-wide Response to Intervention systems, leading school improvement initiatives, coordinating advisory and mentoring programs, and guiding crisis response and accountability efforts. In addition to her school leadership, Beth is or has been an active member of professional organizations including the Colorado Association of School Executives and the American School Counselor Association, and she serves her community through Planning and Zoning in New Castle and the Clough Fellowship Committee. Her work reflects a deep commitment to relationships, collaboration, and creating systems that help every student succeed.
