Have you ever yearned to listen to classical music and fully appreciate the works of the composers, but don’t know how?  Have you wanted to understand the slow, second movement of concertos but can’t stop falling asleep?  In this course, we will examine a handful of the great symphonies and break them down into simple, easy-to-digest lectures. Join us on a geological tour of the mineral springs of Steamboat Springs that includes gathering and analyzing data of our local springs. Dress for the ever-changing weather of Steamboat Springs! Bring water, a hat, sunglasses, sunscreen, and wear comfortable walking/hiking shoes as we will be walking from the library area to Lithia Spring, and over a portion of Howelsen Hill to the Sulphur Cave, which is now designated as a National Natural Landmark, and back to the library. Tour starts at the Soda Spring gazebo and ends at the library just in time for Happy Hour downtown. Learn magnificent techniques for making pasta by hand!  This class will cover rolled and cut pastas like fettuccine and spaghetti and filled pastas like ravioli and agnolotti. Students must be at least 17 years of age.
