Under the supervision of the Associate Dean, Academic and Student Services, the Administrative Technician works in support of campus operations in internal/external room reservations and course scheduling. Duties are performed at a fully-operational level using established, standard guidelines and/or procedural methods. This position applies guidelines and uses processes that are stated and defined, and may solve problems. Maximum 28 hours per week.

Pre-Requisites for the Position (Qualifications Standards)
Education, Experience and Training Sufficient for the rigors of the position, for example: Associate’s Degree or two-year college certificate, vocational school or technical program beyond high school, business college or similar training efforts and 1 year related work experience, or High School Diploma/GED and 2 years related work experience. An applicable combination of education and experience necessary for the position responsibilities required.
Special skills: Knowledge of: variety of standard administrative and business methods and procedures; standard Microsoft Office software, proficiency with Microsoft Office, especially Word and Excel; proficiency with Adobe Acrobat Pro or DC, proficiency with technology and standard office equipment, knowledge of WordPress and Microsoft SharePoint helpful.
Ability to: read, write, speak, and understand English well; operate variety of office equipment; proficient in computer applications, including word processing, spreadsheets and electronic mail; multi-task; meet deadlines; strong verbal, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
Bilingual (English/Spanish) or conversational language abilities are preferred.
