CMC 2024 grads: CMC celebrates graduates of Roaring Fork Valley campuses

Graduation season is fast approaching for students and their families in the Roaring Fork Valley, including the commencement ceremonies for Colorado Mountain College graduates at the institution’s Spring Valley campus, which take place May 3 and 4.
Among these college graduates is 18-year-old Esmeralda Alverde Duarte, a Roaring Fork High School senior enrolled in the Roaring Fork School District’s pre-collegiate program since her junior year. Isaacson School’s Final Portfolio Show to be held May 2 Opportunity to view students’ work at CMC’s Spring Valley campus April 30, 2024 – Graduating students from Colorado Mountain College’s Isaacson School for Communication, Arts and Media will present their Final Portfolio Show at CMC’s Spring Valley campus from 4:30-7 p.m. on May 2. The public is welcome and encouraged to attend the show. The exhibit showcases the work of the Isaacson School’s professional photography, digital media and graphic design students and gives Isaacson School students the opportunity to show and discuss their work with the public. CMC students enrolled in the Isaacson School can earn certificates and associate degrees in these three program areas. Additionally, last fall, the college added a bachelor’s degree, a Bachelor of Applied Science in integrated media, which is now offered through the school. The Final Portfolio Show will be held in the Nieslanik Living Room inside the Bushong Student Center at the Spring Valley campus located at 3000 County Road 114 in Glenwood Springs. Admission is free and refreshments will be served.
