Outdoor Education Classes: CMC Spring Valley Fall 2022
Backcountry Navigation Tired of getting lost or relying on luck to find your way in the backcountry? This challenging class will focus on a variety of navigation techniques in mountainous terrain. Students will need access to a computer with internet along with basic computer skills. This course will consist of: four hours of asynchronous online work to be completed before in-person instruction; an ONLINE, synchronous pre-meeting on Monday, 10/10; and three field days on Fri-Sun, 10/14-10/16. Credit Classes at CMC Mountain Biking Come ride with us! This course focuses on developing your mountain biking skills and techniques while spending three evenings and two days riding world-class trails in the CMC Spring Valley campus area. Get feedback from trained instructors to take your riding to the next level. All skill levels are welcome. Students can provide their own bike or rent from us. This course consists of one evening session and three field days. The evening session can be joined remotely by making arrangements with the instructor.
