CMC students’ sports photographs earn international awards

“Dismount” by Paula Mayer earned a sports photography bronze award in the 2021 College Photographer of the Year international competition. “The spectators don’t get this view of the action,” said Mayer, who was an official photographer at the Carbondale Wild West Rodeo. “I want to show the people in the stands something they can’t see.”
