Join CMC Leadville for ‘Buen Ambiente’ on Oct. 8

Oct. 3, 2023 – At Colorado Mountain College’s Leadville campus, all are welcome to experience the vibrant Latinx culture and community at an event dedicated to creating pathways to higher education. At Buen Ambiente, the doors will open with open hearts, inviting all Latinx community members to discover college education opportunities, regardless of immigration status.

• What to expect: A day filled with inspiring stories and enlightening discussions. Community members can learn about financial aid options, scholarship opportunities and various resources available to help all pursue higher education aspirations.
• Planting seeds of knowledge: CMC’s mission is to sow the seeds of knowledge that transcend borders. Hear from educators, students and advocates who have navigated similar journeys and are committed to breaking down barriers to education.
• Building bridges: Connect with a supportive network. Buen Ambiente is more than an event – it's a community united by the common goal of making education accessible to all.
• Embrace diversity, create change: Diverse backgrounds enrich the tapestry of communities. Celebrate roots, embrace cultural heritages and create positive change through education.

Buen Ambiente will be held on Saturday, Oct. 8, from 12-5 p.m. at the CMC Leadville campus, 901 S. Highway 24, Leadville. The event will be entirely in Spanish.
