Program Services & Benefits

As an ASAP student, you will receive a variety of support as you complete your associate degree at CMC, including:

  • A dedicated ASAP advisor supports you every step of the way—from enrollment to graduation
  • Comprehensive academic support and career advancement services
  • Priority registration to help you get the classes you need
  • A tuition gap scholarship for any difference between tuition costs and your financial aid award for students in receipt of financial aid
  • Regular stipends to assist with basic needs
  • Funding for textbooks

Who qualifies for the COSI ASAP program?

  • Completed 24 or fewer college credits (after high school graduation) at the time of program application
  • Pursuing an associate degree
  • Colorado residents or ASSET students eligible to pay in-state or in-district tuition
  • Meet income eligibility guidelines

What is expected of COSI ASAP Scholar students to receive the scholarship?

  • Must attempt 24 credits per year (fall, spring, summer)
  • Maintain satisfactory progress toward their credential/ degree and hold a cumulative 2.5 GPA
  • Must be in good standing for Financial Aid Satisfactory Academic Progress standard
  • Must graduate with an associate degree within 3 years.
  • Have a current year FAFSA or CASFA
