Baking Pies and Tarts with Chef Ingrid Wussow

Join Chef Ingrid for a hands-on lesson in making pies and tarts. We'll cover the how-to's as well as how-not-to's and a few tricks of the trade for flaky, perfect crusts and seamless tarts. You'll get to make your own dough, roll out your own crusts and get your confidence up in time for holiday baking. This session will introduce all to the fine craft of making pie crusts and tart shells the old fashioned way, using classic ingredients, as well as how to use these crusts with both sweet and savory fillings. We'll bake your pies and tarts during class allowing time for questions and answers. You'll leave with delicious treats to share with friends! All levels of baking skills encouraged to attend!
