Botanical Printing Workshop
August 8, 2021 @ 10:00 am - 2:30 pm
What color does a eucalyptus leaf give? Or a marigold flower? Students will create unique pieces of wearable art using leaves and flowers as the image and color source. This art-form is known as Eco Printing and/or Botanical Printing and can be used to create exciting one of-a-kind prints. Silk scarves will be used as the “canvases” and each participant will complete a minimum of 2 scarves. Supplies will be provided, but students are encouraged to bring plant materials that you want to try. Class meets at Jill Scher's studio in the Third Street Center, Carbondale. Registration ends 8/6.
