Breaking Down Drawing: An Artist’s Perspective

Introduces students to basic skills through various art media. This course may be repeated under a different subtitle for a maximum of six credit hours. Encompasses a multitude of one- credit art experiences that expose students to an art form that they may wish to explore further.
Breaking Down Drawing: An Artist’s Perspective. In this class students will explore the basic components of drawing. Mark-making, line quality, composition, perspective, and various drawing tools and more will be covered. Students will gain confidence in selecting drawing mediums such as pencil, charcoal, graphite and more. Course is part of the CMC Learning Materials Program (LMP). Credit seeking students will be charged $26 per credit hour.
