Learn to identify fabrics and which to use when designing, creating or purchasing clothes. This class will review the four basic types of construction of textiles: 1) Woven, 2) Knitted, 3) Other 4) Non-Woven. Students will understand what a clothing label means, and why you launder a certain way. Learn how to remove stains. Examine the latest fabric developments and their properties for end us.
