There is nothing magical or mysterious about the grantsmanship and grant writing. In fact, it is quite simple. The course will cover "universal truths" and skills required to successfully acquire grants and how best to be organized and effective in developing a grant plan or schedule with associated strategies. Sources of public, corporate, foundation and private grants will be reviewed. Related to this we will discuss the importance of developing and building relationships with potential funders and professionally administering the grants once they are received. Believe it, or not, grantsmanship and grant writing can be a lot of fun. Instructor John Schneiger, MBA, has over 30 years of experience in procuring grants of all kinds amounting to over $30 million
