Grantsmanship and Grantwriting
April 22, 2020 @ 5:30 pm - 8:30 pm
There is nothing magical or mysterious about grantsmanship and grant writing. In fact, it is quite simple. The course will cover "universal truths" and skills required to successfully acquire grants and how best to be organized and effective in developing a grant plan or schedule with associated strategies. Sources of public, corporate, foundation and private grants will be reviewed. Related to this we will discuss the importance of developing and building relationships with potential funders and professionally administering the grants once they are received. Believe it, or not, grantsmanship and grant writing can be a lot of fun. The instructor has over 30 years of experience in procuring grants of all kinds amounting to over $30 million. This class is intended for individuals working with government and non-profits.
