Kiln Glass Pate de Verre II

Building on lessons learned in Pate de Verre I, students will create a positive model in clay of their own design. Plaster molds will be created of the object and students can incorporate detailed design elements. This class will allow broader creative expression. Prerequisite: Pate de Verre I or instructor permission for those with prior clay building and mold making experience. Students should come prepared to get dirty and bring an N-95 face mask. All materials will be provided. Linda Halloran has been teaching and working with glass for over ten years, initially blowing glass and more recently creating functional and ornamental kiln glass pieces that are sold locally and nationally.
