An event every week that begins at 6:00 pm on Tuesday and Thursday, repeating until March 8, 2022
This class covers the basics of sustainable tourism practices beyond traveling with a refillable water bottle. Discover best practices for reducing your carbon footprint and how to avoid negative impacts on destinations while traveling.
Students will learn about the Global Sustainable Tourism Council, green washing, eco-labels and discuss carbon offsets and carbon footprints.
Instructor Rebecca Anne Bradley has been an international and domestic tour manager for more than 20 years, which means she spent an inordinate amount of time living out of a suitcase!
Her personal experiences and passion eventually led her down a path of sustainable tourism. She holds a master’s degree in tourism, and loves to help others make sustainable choices as conscientious travelers.
