Our Summer Arts Camp will take kids on a cultural journey through the Andes, Ireland & Scotland and Los Angeles & Hollywood. Our instructors have prepared a variety of fun and educational activities that will allow each child to express themselves while making new friends and staying active. Looking to get out for a couple of hours in the evening, explore some of the great local trails and meet new friends? We will start with an easy hike and progress to something a little bit more challenging each month. There will be a break halfway to enjoy a picnic if you choose to bring one. Please bring a water bottle and wear sturdy shoes. All levels are encouraged to join! Trails: Wulfsohn Trail, 5/9, 5pm - 8pm We will be hiking Wulfsohn Trail in West Glenwood Springs, off of Midland Ave. This hike is 3.10 miles, rated easy with 400 ft of elevation gain. Babbish Gulch, 6/23, 5pm - 8pm We will be hiking Babbish Gulch in Glenwood Springs up 4 Mile Road adjacent to Sunlight Mountain. This hike is approximately 3.2 miles and rated moderate with 580 feet of elevation gain. Mushroom Rock, 7/21, 5pm - 8pm We will be hiking Mushroom Rock in Carbondale off of Highway 82.
