A native New Yorker, Cynthia spent 27 years on Wall Street. She worked in a variety of investment banks and financial guarantors in such areas as asset management, municipal bond trading, public finance marketing, private client retail sales, corporate communications, and new financial advisor training. During her professional career Cynthia has worked with EF Hutton, Shearson-Lehman, General Electric Capital Corp, MBIA, PaineWebber, and UBS.
Cynthia found her passion for teaching and learning as an adjunct professor and curriculum advisor at the City University of New York business school, Baruch College. She served as an adjunct professor at CMC’s Edwards campus before moving on to a full-time faculty role at the CMC Roaring Forks locations. She recently transferred back to the Vail Valley at Edwards campus, as the first full-time business faculty member at this location, and is looking forward to building the business degree programs there.
In addition to her teaching pursuits, Cynthia advises a small Native American owned consulting firm, OrgScience, Inc., in Washington, DC. Cynthia is a member of both the Women’s Foundation of Colorado (WFCO) and the Academy of Management (AoM). She has also served on the Arrowhead at Vail community board.
