Personal Interests

I love working with students to celebrate their curiosity and cultivate their inner writers and readers. My favorite writers are CAConrad, Ross Gay, Robin Coste Lewis, Aimee Nezhukumatathil, Alexis Pauline Gumbs, Layli Long Solider, Ocean Vuong, Claudia Rankine, Audre Lorde, and Sylvia Plath, among many others.

Family

My husband and I celebrate the chaos our yellow lab and old cat bring into our lives, and look forward to growing our menagerie.
