Personal interests
I am passionate about the environment and love to bring my real-world experiences into the classroom. You'll often find me out on the rivers or in the mountains, so I get to see firsthand the importance of enjoying and protecting our public lands. I've always had a veggie garden, which keeps me connected and grounded to the living systems we talk about in class. I've even had the amazing opportunity to work on the Arctic Ocean sea ice, and I love sharing my experiences from that with students. These personal interests fuel my love for teaching environmental science!
