Work History
After completing my degrees, I worked for various snowsport companies in areas such as marketing, product design, and sales. I am a passionate skier and have a Level 3 Avalanche certification which I use to help educate students on backcountry travel and safety as part of being the advisor to CMC Backcountry club.
The courses I teach focus on the marketing, manufacturing and media components of the action-sport industry. I have been involved in various marketing and product design projects for brands like Nordica, Helly Hansen, Spyder, Uvex, and more. I bring the knowledge from my previous professional career to the classroom and strive to create real-world situations for my students. The Action Sports and Ski and Snowboard Business (SKB) program are the only program in the nation focusing on retail, marketing and manufacturing aspects of the action-sport industry. Additionally, I instruct in the Integrated Media Design (IMD) BAS degree.
