Chad Mickschl

Chad has a B.A. from Lake Forest College and has also completed the Outdoor Education Certificate at Colorado Mountain College. Chad has completed the AMGA Aspirant Ski Mountaineering and Single Pitch Instructor Exams. He is also a certified Level I and II Avalanche Safety Instructor through AIARE.

Chad also holds EMT and OEC medical certifications. When not teaching at CMC Chad works as a backcountry Ski Guide for Aspen Alpine Guides and Chicago Ridge Ski Tours, where he also works as a Forecaster and Snow Safety Tech. He also serves on the Fllght For Life Avalanche Deployment Team in Summit Co. as an Avalanche Tech. In the summer Chad works for the Bureau of Land Management as a Recreation Tech.
