Professional Experience
Kipp is a third-generation teacher and began teaching for CMC in 1996 as an adjunct instructor. He has taught career, technical and education (CTE) at the high schools in Hayden, Soroco and Steamboat Springs.
Kipp has worked in the private sector in the Business Research Division with Chuck Goldner compiling the Annual Ski Areas Report for Colorado Ski Country USA as well as some independent projects for Steamboat and other resorts.
Family
A Colorado native, born in Golden, Kipp has lived in Steamboat Springs for the most of his life with his wife Kari and three children.
Personal Interests
He enjoys mountain biking and river sports, camping, hiking, hunting and fishing in the summer, skiing, riding and lots of back country adventures in the winter.
