I am a freelance writer for various educational publications, providing them with reading passages and corresponding assessments for all subjects, in addition to literary analyses for novels, nonfiction essays, and poetry. I also write for our local newspaper covering the Board of Education monthly meetings and the Town Hall bi-weekly meetings. Currently, I am working toward certification as a ghostwriter while writing my first novel.
Besides teaching and writing, I am passionate about food and music. Any given Sunday, you will find me in my kitchen, cooking and dancing until my feet and back can't take it anymore. Another passion is travel, but I have neither the means nor the time to explore the world as much as I’d prefer, so it’s more of a retirement dream.
My husband of 20 years is a Fire Marshal, and our son is almost 14 years old. We love dogs and always have a few running around our home.
