Types of Financial Aid at Colorado Mountain College

Types of Financial Aid

There are four main types of financial aid for college students including grants, scholarships, loans, and Work-Study funds. Grants and Scholarships do not have to repaid. Some students, such as veterans, may qualify for special assistance. Find out what's offered to you!

BE ADVISED: Information can change when the US Department of Education issues updates to awards, regulations or both. In like manner, all state, institutional and other aid is restricted by fund availability and other requirements. On occasion, we are required to reduce or cancel financial aid. While we regret any award reductions, they unfortunately do take place for reasons beyond our control. We sincerely apologize for those changes that negatively affect your ability to meet your educational expenses.
