RURAL NURSING SUCCESS FUND

Help nurses step into the workplace!

CMC's Rural Nursing Success Fund helps nursing students on Colorado’s Western Slope get the training they need to step into the workplace. Specifically, the fund allows CMC to add virtual simulation modules for its nursing students and instructors, and additionally provides students with an innovative way to fund their education.

Nursing students can participate in an interest-free income share agreement (ISA) that caps the total repayment at the amount borrowed. Further, to incentivize students to stay and work in our mountain communities, grant funding forgives 25% of the student’s total debt for those who do.

A limited number of ISA's are available each year to nursing students with demonstrated financial need. Priority is given to students who are enrolled in their final year of Colorado Mountain College's Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) or Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) program.

CMC offers associate and bachelor’s degrees in nursing at its campuses in Spring Valley-Glenwood Springs, Breckenridge and Steamboat Springs.

Invest in the future of healthcare in your rural community!
