I GIVE FOR TEAM CMC!
CMC’s Team Fund campaign is the employee giving campaign for Colorado Mountain College, supporting students and programs through the CMC Foundation.
EVERY GIFT COUNTS
Participation is easy! Regardless of size, your personal contribution is critical and appreciated. Every dollar matters. Not only do you get to choose where your own gift goes, but your donation supports your campus as well. Thanks to the generosity of Alpine Bank and the CMC Foundation there is $50,000 in prize money to be distributed to the Campus Discretionary Fund of each campus based on their overall rankings. $35,000 will be distributed based on campus participation percentage and $15,000 will be distributed to the campuses with the largest average donations.
Last year, campuses and Central Services supported students in several creative ways with their winnings, including additional student gatherings to build community, funds to send students to present at industry conferences, money to expand student testing services, and more.

Totals updated January 29, 2026
If you already have a payroll deduction in place and want to update or renew the gift designation or the amount, OR if you’re making a payroll deduction for the first time, use Workday. Once you’ve entered the deduction amount in Workday (a minimum of $2.50/paycheck), you’ll need to fill out information regarding where you’d like that donation to be applied. Payroll deductions will begin the first pay period of 2025. Please note: this is a 2-step process!
STEP ONE: Complete the following instructions in Workday to advise payroll how much to deduct from each of your bi-weekly paychecks and the frequency.
- Go to Basecamp and click on Workday.
- Navigate to “Benefits and Pay” from the left-hand menu.
- Click “Pay” and then “Voluntary Deductions.”
- You will have two options:
- Click the “Add” button (for a NEW donation)
- Or if you have an existing payroll deduction you will see a line item with the amount and frequency. If you would like to change the amount of an existing Voluntary Deduction, please add an “End Date” to the existing line item and create a new Voluntary Deduction.
- Select “CMC Foundation” or “Employee Assistance Fund.”
- Frequency: “One-Time” or “Ongoing.”
- For a “One-Time” payroll deduction donation add the “Date”
- For an “Ongoing” donation add a “Start” date and either add an “End Date” or leave it blank if you want it to continue.
- Click “OK” and “Done.”
- You can then return to Benefits and Pay and review your voluntary deduction. Edit or Delete.
STEP TWO: Advise the CMC Foundation how you want to distribute your donation.
- Go to Basecamp and click on Workday.
- Navigate to “Benefits and Pay” from the left-hand menu.
