Celebrate the Unveiling of The New Mural at CMC Rifle

Colorado Mountain College’s Rifle campus invites the community to celebrate the unveiling of a new mural by local artist Jeremy Velasquez, honoring the Ute people’s connection to the Colorado River Valley. The event features Ute storyteller and filmmaker Larry Cesspooch, who will share the Ute Creation Story, local history, and cultural reflections that inspired the artwork. Join us for an evening of art, storytelling, and community, complete with a mural blessing and light refreshments inspired by Ute traditions, on May 22, 2025, at 5:30 PM.
