Dates and Times for Spring 2021 Commencement

In order to remain in compliance with COVID-19 county guidelines, ceremonies have been divided into smaller groups.

If you don’t see your degree program listed or if you aren’t sure which ceremony you are to attend, please call your campus to confirm the correct ceremony.

Colorado Law Enforcement Academy (CLETA)

Nursing: Associate of Applied Science and Bachelor’s of Science Graduates

Career/Technical Certificates/Degrees, Associate of Applied Science, Bachelors of Applied Science

Graduates of Criminal Justice, Digital Media, Early Childhood Education, EMT, Graphic Design, Information Technology, Medical Assistant, Paralegal, Professional Photography, Real Estate, Veterinary Technology,  Welding and Bachelor's of Applied Sciences in Leadership & Management programs.

Associate of Arts, Associate of Science, Associate of General Studies and Bachelor’s Degrees

Includes graduates of all Associate of Arts/Science, Associate of General Studies, BA: Elementary Education, BA: Sustainable Studies and BS: Business Administration

Graduation Regalia, Invitations & Tickets

Student Graduation Regalia

Available only through the Spring Valley Campus Store 970-947-8273.

Free to rent for students with the option to purchase ($30). To confirm your order, call the Spring Valley Campus Store at 970-947-8273 on or after April 5, 2021.

Students will sign a use agreement at the Campus Store when they pick up their regalia. Students will be able to pick up graduation regalia on or after April 26.

Failure to return graduation regalia by the deadline (5/14) or if regalia is damaged, will result in a $30 charge to the student’s account.

Invitations and Tickets

Two invitations, with one ticket each, will be issued to students. Available on or after April 5th.

Due to COVID-19, graduates will be able to invite two guests to attend in person. Contact your campus to request or pick up your invitations and tickets.

Additional Information for Graduates and their Guests

All graduates and guests will be required to follow COVID-19 guidelines while on campus and participating in the Commencement ceremony.

Failure to follow these guidelines will result in the dismissal of graduates or guests.

Graduates: If you were not planning on attending Commencement, but now would like to do so, please contact your campus by April 5.

  • The campus will determine if there is available room and commencement regalia.
  • If the ceremony is at maximum capacity, there will be a stand-by list.

Live Stream of Commencement

All four ceremonies will be live-streamed for family and friends to view remotely. Check back at this website the week of Commencement for the link.

Receipt of Diplomas/Certificates and Transcripts

Diplomas will be mailed to students 4-6 weeks after the Commencement Ceremony. Transcripts noting program completion will be available May 17, 2021. Student accounts need to be paid in full in order to receive diplomas and transcripts.
