Bill Gerber is an Emmy-winning producer and Academy Award & Golden Globe nominee with over 30 years of experience in the film industry. He previously served as President of Production at Warner Brothers Pictures, where he contributed to dozens of films including LA Confidential, JFK, Heat, You've Got Mail, Twister, The Perfect Storm, Three Kings, and the Harry Potter series.
As founder of Gerber Pictures with a first-look deal at Warner Bros., Bill has produced A Star Is Born (2019 Academy Award nominee for Best Picture), Gran Torino, A Very Long Engagement (2005 Golden Globe nominee for Best Foreign Language Film), Grudge Match, and Moonage Daydream. His television work includes the Emmy-nominated James Dean (2002) and the Sports Emmy-winning HBO documentary What's My Name | Muhammad Ali (2020). His most recent project, Elizabeth Taylor: The Lost Tapes, premiered on HBO in August 2024.
Prior to his film career, Bill was a partner at Lookout Management, where he co-managed The Cars, Devo, Heaven 17, ABC, Scritti Politti, and Paul Reubens. He currently serves as an advisor to AOL, Authentic Brands Group, Lennar Homes, and Udio.
