Under the supervision of the Campus Maintenance Manager, the Maintenance Worker is responsible for, but not limited to, maintenance, care, and upkeep of campus buildings and grounds, in addition to providing building housekeeping and custodial services.

Pre-requisites for Position (Qualifications Standards):
Education and experience sufficient for the rigors of the position, such as an Associate’s Degree and two years related experience, or High School Degree/GED and three years related experience.
Knowledge of general grounds maintenance practices; basic repair and maintenance of hand tools, maintenance and motorized equipment; and standard cleaning operations. General computer skills and use of standard Microsoft Office software.
Ability to read, write, follow oral and written instructions; work independently and/or as a team member; use hand tools and perform repetitive tasks; operate a variety of power tools and equipment, including carpenter’s, electrician’s, plumber’s and painter’s tools; obtain and maintain a valid Colorado driver’s license; serve on-call duty; and basic computer skills.

Bilingual (English/Spanish) or conversational language abilities may be helpful.
