CMC announces plans for spring 2022 semester

Colorado Mountain College will begin the spring 2022 semester on Jan. 17 with the continuation of in-person, hybrid, livestream and online anytime classes. As was the case in the fall, all students, faculty and staff will be required to wear a mask when indoors at a CMC facility, get tested if they have symptoms of COVID and stay home if they're sick.

The college is actively monitoring increasing demand for online and livestream classes, and adding sections as needed. Students interested in signing up for these classes should check with their local campus to see what’s available.

“This is our seventh semester operating during a global pandemic, and we’ve learned a lot about what our students, faculty and staff need to function successfully during these challenging times,” said Colorado Mountain College Chief Operating Officer Matt Gianneschi. “We were excited to see one of our largest graduating classes ever last spring, and we hope to see continued success as we work together during the coming semester.”

Students living in residence halls and enrolled in some academic programs, including study abroad and classes involving overnight trips, must be fully vaccinated against COVID 19, inclusive of a booster shot. Current COVID protocols can be found at CMC’s Trail Map webpage

The college’s leadership team will announce any changes to final procedures on Wednesday, Jan. 12.
