CMC in Edwards set to celebrate dental hygiene academic program

Colorado Mountain College Vail Valley at Edwards will host a ribbon-cutting celebration for the college’s new Oral Health Clinic and dental hygiene academic program on Aug. 21 at the Edwards campus.

The Colorado Mountain College Foundation will be unveiling this Oral Health Clinic that will accept patients from the community, and which will serve as the site of the college’s new dental hygiene program. The event will highlight tours of this state-of-the-art clinic and the many partners that have made this new community amenity possible.

Community members, CMC supporters and health care professionals are welcome to attend to learn how CMC is responding to community need by providing this new dental hygiene associate degree, and potential students are invited to learn more about dental hygiene as a career. Plus, there will be free food, drink and CMC oral health swag.

The CMC Oral Health Clinic and Dental Health Program Ribbon Cutting will take place from 3:30-5 p.m. at Colorado Mountain College Vail Valley at Edwards, 150 Miller Ranch Road, Edwards. The event is free and all are welcome and encouraged to attend by RSVPing.
