CMC Leadville invites public to collect free firewood on campus starting Aug. 1

July 25, 2023 – Colorado Mountain College Leadville is inviting community members to be part of its public wood collection on campus from Aug. 1 until all wood is collected.

During August, five permits per day will be available to the public to collect firewood from the Leadville campus. Collection times are Monday through Friday from 8:30 a.m. until 4 p.m. for permit holders. People can obtain permits at the New Discovery learning services desk on campus.
