CMC names Steamboat Springs staff member collegewide Staff of the Year

STEAMBOAT SPRINGS —

Barnett has worked at the college for more than 10 years and oversees student life and housing, supporting students both in and out of the classroom.

She was first selected at the campus level before being chosen for the collegewide award.

“Michelle creates a strong sense of community for students and strengthens connections between the campus and the broader community,” said JC Norling, CMC vice president and Steamboat Springs campus dean. “Her leadership has had a lasting impact on student life in Steamboat Springs.”
