CMC offering free Critical Business Technology Skills sessions
In-person, online sessions offered last week of January
Jan. 23, 2025 Colorado Mountain College’s School of Business is offering an online Critical Business Technological Skills session, as well as in-person sessions at CMC Spring Valley, CMC’s Glenwood Center, CMC Breckenridge and CMC Steamboat Springs the last week of January.
The sessions are free and open to the public, though registration is requested.
Led by CMC business faculty members and Kristy Brooks-Olk, dean of the college’s School of Business, the sessions will address data analytics and cybersecurity as well as how to obtain Microsoft Word and Excel certifications. Attendees will learn about career opportunities in the technological industry and take part in an open-floor question-and-answer period.
The online-only livestream session will be held on Jan. 29 from 5-6:30 p.m. and can be accessed by registering at Critical Business Technology Skills. Dates and times for the in-person sessions are:
- Jan. 27, 12-1 p.m.: CMC Spring Valley, 3000 County Road 114, Glenwood Springs
- Jan. 27, 5-6:30 p.m.: Glenwood Center, 1402 Blake Ave., Glenwood Springs
- Jan. 28, 5-6:30 p.m.: CMC Breckenridge, 107 Denison Placer Road, Breckenridge
- Jan. 30, 5-6:30 p.m.: CMC Steamboat Springs, 1275 Crawford Ave., Steamboat Springs
