CMC Salida names Faculty and Staff of the Year

Every spring at each of Colorado Mountain College’s campuses, students and employees vote for outstanding educators and staff for Faculty of the Year and Staff of the Year.

This year, the Salida campus recognized Jonathan Burk, assistant professor of fire science and EMS, as its full-time Faculty of the Year, and Sarah Simko, who teaches accounting, as its adjunct Faculty of the Year.

Jamie Kruis, assistant dean of instruction in the academic affairs department, received the campus’s full-time Staff of the Year award.
