2025 Faculty and Staff of the Year:
Pauline Trujillo of CMC Spring Valley and the Glenwood Center receives collegewide recognition
Every spring at each of Colorado Mountain College’s 11 campuses, students and employees vote for outstanding educators and staff for Faculty of the Year and Staff of the Year recognition. Senior college administrators then select overall collegewide awards.
This year, Pauline Trujillo, lead administrative assistant for student affairs, was selected as full-time Staff of the Year, not only by her campus, CMC Spring Valley and the Glenwood Center, but collegewide. In selecting Trujillo, fellow staff member Baylie Persson, who is Spring Valley’s coordinator of student activities and summer conferences, wrote that “Pauline is one of the most solid rocks that CMC has at its foundation. She works tirelessly for the success and betterment of our students. Her humility and compassion for others is unmatched, while problem solving and solution-oriented thinking are natural to her. Pauline is awe-inspiring.”
Additionally, students and employees at CMC Spring Valley and the Glenwood Center selected biology professor Kim Harding as the campus’s full-time Faculty of the Year; Sara Berry, English as a Second Language faculty member as adjunct Faculty of the Year; and proctor Penelope Farquhar as the part-time Staff of the Year.
