CMC Vail Valley staff receives collegewide award
Every spring at each of Colorado Mountain College’s 11 campuses, students and employees vote for outstanding educators and staff for Faculty of the Year and Staff of the Year. Senior college administrators then select overall collegewide awards.
Kim Langmaid, associate professor of sustainability studies, received CMC Vail Valley’s full-time Faculty of the Year. Tim Loes, professor of biology, also received a full-time Faculty of the Year award for his work with the distance learning department, and Jessica Ociepka, who teaches nursing, was named adjunct Faculty of the Year. Steve Forster, professional tutor in the student services department, was selected as the part-time Staff of the Year.
