Colorado Mountain College Leadville invites Spanish-speaking community to Buen Ambiente

Learn about attending college in Leadville Oct. 16 at Spanish-language event

Colorado Mountain College Leadville will present Buen Ambiente at CMC’s Leadville campus on Sunday, Oct. 16.

Colorado Mountain College is inviting Leadville’s Spanish-speaking community to learn about college education and financial aid. The event will be held completely in Spanish and free to the public. Come learn how to start a college career, regardless of immigration status. There will be food, music, fun activities for children and a lot of information.

Throughout the day, a community fair will feature 20 booths with information about the college and the community. Lunch will be served. There will be campus tours and opportunities for parents and students to share information.

Transportation is provided to CMC’s campus at these pick-up locations:

• Main Entrance of Lake Fork: 12:10 p.m.
• Family Dollar: 12:30 p.m.
• Lake County School District/ The Center: 12:40 p.m.
• Main Entrance of Mountain View East: 12:15 p.m.
• Main Entrance of Mountain View West: 12:22 p.m.
• Main Entrance of Mountain Valley: 12:30 p.m.
• Eagle’s Nest Apartments: 12:40 p.m.

Buen Ambiente will take place from 1-5 p.m. on Sunday, Oct. 16 at Colorado Mountain College Leadville, 901 S. Highway 24, Leadville. Admission is free.

Podrá disfrutar de un evento en español dedicado a informar sobre el acceso a la universidad este 16 de octubre en Leadville

Colorado Mountain College Leadville celebrará la presentación de Buen Ambiente en el campus de Leadville de CMC el domingo 16 de octubre.

Colorado Mountain College invita a la comunidad hispanohablante de Leadville a informarse sobre la educación universitaria y las becas financieras. Este evento se llevará a cabo completamente en español y será gratuito al público. Los asistentes podrán aprender cómo iniciar una carrera universitaria, sin importar su estatus migratorio. Habrá comida, música, actividades divertidas para los niños y mucha información.

Durante todo el día, habrá una feria comunitaria con 20 puestos con información sobre la universidad y la comunidad. Está previsto que se sirva un almuerzo. Se realizarán visitas al campus y ofrecerán oportunidades para que padres y estudiantes compartan información.
