CMC's Glenwood Center will host a free session about using AI with genealogy research on Oct. 30.
GLENWOOD SPRINGS — Colorado Mountain College’s Glenwood Center will host a free session, “Genealogy Meets AI: Promise, Peril, and Possibility,” with CMC adjunct faculty member David Use on Thursday, Oct. 30 from 6-8 p.m.
Use will share practical ways to use AI wisely and creatively in family-history research, including summarizing records and translating documents. He will also cover best practices to avoid common pitfalls, such as fabricated facts and missed context.
“Genealogy Meets AI” is part of the Glenwood Center’s Gift of Education free lecture series, which offers ideas and topics relevant to the community. The event will be held at CMC’s Glenwood Center, 1402 Blake Ave., Glenwood Springs. Admission is free and all are welcome.
