Labor Market Summit coming to Leadville and Glenwood Springs

CMC’s School of Business to host free morning-long sessions on mountain-town labor

The Colorado Mountain College School of Business will present State of the Labor Market 2022 Summit in Glenwood Springs and Leadville on Nov. 7 and 9, respectively.

Both summits will give attendees an understanding of labor market dynamics and the workforce needs of the region’s mountain communities while learning the results of a CMC School of Business labor needs survey conducted earlier this year. Mountain community leaders from business, education and government will share how educational attainment can contribute to business success in CMC’s service area. Attendees will have opportunities to network with business and community leaders. The summits will also connect minority-owned and small businesses to resources in the area.

The State of the Labor Market 2022 Summit will take place in Glenwood Springs on Nov. 7 at Morgridge Commons, 815 Cooper Ave., 2nd floor, and on Nov. 9 at CMC Leadville, 901 S. Highway 24. Both events start at 8:30 a.m. with breakfast. Presentations will begin at 9 a.m. and work sessions will start at 10 a.m. Admission is free, though attendees are asked to register.
