The Vitality of the Valley Hiring Fair gives potential employees and employers an opportunity to meet and secure job placements.

Making solid connections for local employment

2026’s Vitality of the Valley Hiring Fair returns to CMC Rifle on April 8

Students and members of the public who have been looking for work in the Rifle area have an easier way to connect with employers and learn more about the local job market.

The 2026 edition of the Vitality of the Valley Hiring Fair returns to Colorado Mountain College’s Rifle campus from 1:30-4 p.m. on April 8.

The annual community hiring fair, hosted by CMC Rifle and the Colorado River Valley Chamber of Commerce in partnership with Colorado Workforce, offers a great opportunity for students, community members and local businesses and vendors to build connections for local employment across a wide range of industries.

Vitality of the Valley is an excellent way to support workforce development in the entire region, as well as strengthen community and business partnerships by providing accessible career resources.

More than 30 businesses are expected to participate, including Garfield County Library, Roaring Fork Home Care, Mountain Air Mechanical, Colorado River Fire Rescue, A1 Heating & Cooling and many more.

Businesses are encouraged to bring company brochures and recruitment materials and share both job descriptions and application instructions. Potential employers can also help applicants by being prepared to discuss company culture and advancement opportunities. Promotional items and swag or giveaways are also a helpful touch.

Students and community members are encouraged to register for the day’s events but can also take part by simply dropping by campus on April 8.

CMC Rifle is at 3695 Airport Road. For more information, or to participate as an employer, email Adrian Botting or Celeste Grice or call 970-625-6953.
